With increasing legalization around thecountry for cannabis products, many entrepreneurs are trying their hand at making a living in the field. For today’s show we get a feel for the growing market from folks at Bio365, providing premium soil for the burgeoning industry, and a tour of the ‘Cannabus’, the first legal mobile cannabis dispensary, by Jeremy Jacobs, a young  energetic entrepreneur from Kentucky.  We also hear from Barry Brilliant, helping to bring GemStx, a personal extractor to market. It was great to talk to journalist Don Lattin so openly about a topic normally below the radar of public discourse.  In his new book Don explores the theurapeutic effects of some mild altering substances, in terms of research currently underway and his own journey with depression. 

Changing Our Minds is the latest installment in a trio of books about the recent history and future prospects for finding beneficial uses for drugs and plant medicines like LSD, psilocybin, MDMA and ayahuasca. Don comes out of the psychedelic closet in his latest book, sharing personal stories of transformational experiences.  Enjoy!

Then Gregory Panos takes us to the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas, where all things media are explored.  His interest in VR takes him to the latest and greates in that arena, such as 4K 3D 360 video with depth perception.  And Mrs. Future shares her pat down experiences with TSA.  Enjoy!

It’s been a big week in the autonomous car world, with Uber testing in SF, Chevy’s Bolt being readied for an autonomous future on the assembly line, Fiat/Chrysler prepping 100 minivans for Google’s auto car tech, and Blackberry committing to embedded self-driving vehicle software development.  This world is moving fast!

Not to be outdone, the cannabis entrepreneurs are busy too, notably MaraPharm in Las Vegas, as they explore not just the US but Canadian markets.. Exciting times ahead!
