Future Now Show - Planet gulped down by Star, Star Spagettified by Black hole, New Nuke power in Wyoming, Rocket Lab Launches tiny weather cubesats, Virgin Galactic next to launch, Blue Origin picks up pace, Uranus water moons discovered, Snake robot to explore ice moons, Longevity Hacks, White House Announces AI Bill of Rights

Listen to Future Now 5.09.2023

It appears the cycle of life exists even on the cosmic level with planets absorbed by stars and stars swallowed by black holes.  Quite fascinating stories this week on this topic.  We also have an update on the latest adventures of our favorite space companies and their launches.  And new analysis of data about Uranus suggest many water moons surrounding that gas planet, with NASA building a snake-like serpentine robot for exploring such ice worlds.  You’ll love our longevity hacks for the week, especially if you take a ‘cold plunge’, and the White House is taking AI very seriously with a summit of AI leaders convening at the White House and announching an AI Bill of rights.  Enjoy!

Future News- Citizens in Space, Virgin Galactic Stock plummets, Full Self-Driving Tesla update, Meteor tracking with drones, Solar System Ecology, First RoboFarm, Activist David Rodriguez in Jail no Bail

An exciting week for space tourism with the first citizens, including Sir Richard Branson, going to space on a private spacecraft, The Unity One!  But for some reason, Virgin Galactic’s stock price dropped, why??  Also this week, Tesla releases its long awaited Full Self Driving software, new meteor tracking drones are being tested, the first fully automated farm is underway, and we field calls regarding the illegal imprisonment of local activist David James Rodriguez.

Future News and Reviews - McBride Magic Review, Virgin Space Breakthrough, Why UAVs now? Of ancient angels, aliens, and beyond duality, Andrew Cameron Bailey on Carbon, SRM, and Climate Change Solutions

A very dynamic show this week, with guests and call-ins and controversial topics.  With all the hubbub lately about UFOs or UAVs or UAPs or whatever you want to call them, we and our audience hypothesize why the government is releasing this info now. From biblical battles to alien AI’s, we cover the gamet.
Later we speak with Connie Baxter Marlow and primarily with Andrew Bailey, of Sacred Earth Enterprises, with a plan to build climate resilient ecovillages around the planet.  Andrew speaks in more depth about their plans to reduce the atmospheric carbon dioxide issue  via SRM, an approach to reducing impacts of climate change by reflecting some inbound sunlight back out into space. And did I say lots of callers checking in on all this? Enjoy!

Future News - TEDx SC review, Virgin Galactic Stock Leap, Sharing DNA, Dr. Bruce Damer on Climate Mitigation

Listen Now to Future News 12.10.2019

What a great experience we had at TEDx Santa Cruz this last weekend, touching tentacles with some amazing minds in our community, folks we hope to introduce to you over the coming year on Dr. Future. And in its quest to take humans for a space ride, Virgin Galactic is now on the New York Stock Exchange and have patents that will allow them to build hypersonic aircraft, planes that can carry passengers to any place on Earth at speeds faster than sound.

After projects exploring the capture of asteroids and investigating the origins of biological life, Dr. Bruce Damer returns to the show and speaks of his current initiative in creating a new think tank consortium uniting governments with business and academia, focused on mega-engineering projects for mitigating climate change. Enjoy!

Future News - Solar Roadway Update, One Web Challenges Musk/Bezos, SpaceShip Warranties, New Mexico Spaceport Opens, New Europa Mission, Woodstock 50 Documentary

Listen Now to Future News 8.20.2019

We are back from 3 weeks in Canada visiting friends and family, hope you are enjoying your summer as well! Lots of news this week, some good, some not so good, like our report on an experimental solar roadway in France..A promising idea, but…let’s just say there is nothing like a real world test of roads to see how well they hold up to the elements and human/machine use. This week we ask Alexa for helping to determine warranties on space ships, we look deeper into Elon’s Mars nuking project, NASA’s new probe to Europa, New Mexico’s new spaceport, and Netflix’s 50th anniversary documentary of the Woodstock Aquarian Exposition.  Enjoy!
